Hotels in Madison
Our meeting hotel is the Madison Hilton, which is located proximal to the convention center. Reservations can be made directly

The conference rate is $162 ($185.49 with tax per night). If you call, please make sure to mention PNIRS to get this rate and to credit your room to our reserved block. The price is the same for single or double occupancy.
Our conference rooms are listed as a Standard room with a city view, but you may end up with a lake view. If you have a strong preference for the lake, express an interest in their Comments box.
If you are willing to spend $20 more per night, you may be able to upgrade to the Deluxe room, which does have a lake view and free internet, and includes access to a concierge floor with complimentary breakfast and afternoon drinks. Eight rooms of this type have been allocated for those who make reservations early.
You may also be able to upgrade to a Deluxe room if you have enough points with the Hilton Honors program.
To get the conference rate, you must reserve by April 29. After that, the rates will go up to $225 and $245, respectively, for standard and deluxe rooms.

Reservations can also be made at other hotels, but they are located several blocks from the Monona Terrace. For the frugal traveler, consider the Best Western Inn on the Park (608-257-8811). These alternative arrangements are made on your own, and not through the PNIRS.
