Getting to Madison

By Air

For international travelers, the easiest hub cities would be Detroit/Minneapolis (via Northwest) or Chicago. Participants coming from major cities on the east and west coast might consider flying on Midwest Airlines via Milwaukee or Kansas City (www.midwestairlines.com). However, please check its more limited flight schedule.

Taxi from the Madison airport

The taxi fare from the airport will be less than $20 and take less than 15 minutes. There is a taxi stand near baggage claim. Gratuity in the US is typically 15% of the fare.

Hilton Shuttle

Airport Shuttle Bus The Hilton has a free shuttle from the airport, but it would be best to reserve before your flight departure. Call the Hilton at: (608) 255-5100. Ask to speak to bellman and arrange by giving your arrival time. Otherwise there is a 30 min wait and its quicker to take a taxi.

By Car or Bus

Madison is located only 2.5 hours from Chicago and 5 hours from Minneapolis (via Interstate 90/94). It is a simple route and fairly scenic once you reach Wisconsin.
